This course will enable the students to - 
1. Appraise Primary and Secondary organs of the Immune system. 
2. Analyze antibody-antigen interaction, autoimmune diseases, the concept of antigen, antigenic  determinants, hapten, factors affecting antigenicity 
3. Critique the structure, types, and functions of Immunoglobulin 
4. Relate the functioning of CD4 and CD8 T cells and B cells in immune responses. 
5. Acquainted with how the immune system distinguishes self from non-self.
