Students should be able to: CO49: Provides insight into the key concept and analytical methods used in bioinformatics. CO50: Acquire knowledge about sequence similarity search methods like DOT PLOT, heuristic and dynamic method for sequence analysis and alignment. CO51: Understand and apply bioinformatics in Phylogenetic analysis and prediction of structure of Proteins and nucleic acids. CO52: Describe application of mathematics in biology basic rules of Matrices and vectors, Exponential functions, Periodic Functions, Differentiation and Integration. CO53: It provides Foundation on statistical methods to enable students to understand, compute and interpret statistical parameters. |
