Objective: 
Course objectives:  
This course will enable the students to – 
1. Aware about economically important insects. 
2. Appraise the morphology of insect pests and the nature of the damage done by an insect  pest. 
3. Acquaint with the methods of control of various insect pests. 
4. Recognize arthropods vectors of human diseases. 
5. Gain knowledge about Pisciculture, dairy farming, Poultry Keeping, Leather industry and Wool  industry. 
6. To enlighten them about use of Pharmaceuticals from animals
