On 19 January 2016, the students of the IIS University (B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc.) visited the Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur and enriched their knowledge about avifaunal diversity. They were mesmerized to observe so many birds at the same place. The zeal to learn motivated them to identify the faunal diversity. Nearly 90 species of birds and 10 species of other fauna were identified by them. The visit to the park was an enlightening effort to make them learn in the lap of Mother Nature. They not only identified the different fauna of the park, but they were able to visualize different ecological and behavioural interactions. The examples of parental care, family, nest-building, kinship behavior etc which they read in books were evident in front of the young minds.
