Course Objectives:
This course will enable the students to
1. Design and conduct experiments, using drosophila as experimental model and study its molecular biology and genetics.
2. To develop an understanding about characteristic features of different specimens from phylum annelida to echinodermata
3. Understanding the scientific aspects and development of diverse animal kingdom

The students will be able to – CO24: Enhance knowledge about animal kingdom by studying representative animals from each phylum. CO25: To identify and describe different laboratory specimens based on their classification and characters.
