Physiology and Biochemistry

The students will be able to-
CO 1 Differentiate between simple and complex carbohydrates and lipids and their functions.
CO 2: Explain the structural elements of proteins ,their configuration, classification and details of protein denaturation and its utility in daily life.
CO 3: Describe the enzyme catalysis along with factors affecting enzyme activity.
CO 4: Illustrate the physiology of animals at cellular and system levels.
CO 5: Relate the role and
functions of different
biomolecules, hormones and
enzymes in human
physiology.
CO 6: Investigate the
physiology of digestion,
respiration, muscles, nervous system, circulatory system.
