Molecular Biology

The students will:

CO 1: Relate different terminologies related to chromosomes and their morphology, packaging of a long thread of DNA into the nucleus and the role of associated proteins in this process.

 

CO 2: Appraise the structure and types of Nucleic acids, their characteristic features and occurrence.

 

CO 3: Develop detailed knowledge about the process and importance of DNA replication in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes and protein machinery involved into it.

 

CO 4: Analyze comprehensive knowledge about the process of Transcription, translation along with the mechanisms of post transcriptional and post-translational processes in the cell.
