Objective: 

Course Objectives:

This course will enable the students to

1. The course objective is to provide students with a basic understanding of how organisms maintain gamete population, fertilization process, way of cleavage and different patterns to form zygote.

2. Understand the organogenesis in chick, extra embryonic membranes, types & physiology of placenta, metamorphosis, apoptosis and teratogenesis.

The students will be able to –

CO41: Understand various events occurring during development of an organism.

CO43: Describe the process of fertilization, cleavage and different patterns to form zygote.

CO44: Learn the mechanisms of embryonic development, fate maps, organogenesis in chick and about extra embryonic membranes
