Course Objectives:
This course will enable the students to
1. Develop an understanding of animals from Annelida to Echinodermata and their general Characteristics.
2. Learn the characteristics common to all living organisms and be able to distinguish these from characteristics unique to animals.
3. Learn the general requirements for all living organisms and the specific requirements of animals.
4. Understand the general features of animal life cycles and forms of reproduction.
5. Understand the process and use of pearl culture.
6. To understand the origin and evolutionary relationship of different larval forms from Annelida to Echinodermata
