The students will be able to

CO: Differentiate between simple and complex carbohydrates and lipids and their physiological importance and functions 

CO: Explain the structural elements of proteins and nucleic acids, their configuration,classification and details of protein denaturation and its utility in daily life.

CO: Describe the principles of bioenergetics and enzyme catalysis along with factors affecting enzyme activity.
