Objective: 

Course objectives:

 

This course will enable the students to –

 

  1. Appraise structural elements of proteins, its configuration, classification and details of protein denaturation and its utility in daily life.
  2. Critique the detailed catabolic and anabolic pathways of protein and nucleic acid metabolism.
  3. Examine bioenergetics and the law of Thermodynamics involved in biological processes.
  4. Analyze various kinds of minerals, their availability, transportation, metabolism and deficiency disorders.

The students will :
