Objective: 
Course Objectives: 
 
This course will enable the students to 
1. Develop understanding about properties of water & acid base nature. 
2. Discriminate between different types of chemical bonds in biomolecules. 
3. Analyze different aspects of structure and classification of carbohydrates and lipids. 
4. Describe the principles of bioenergetics and enzyme catalysis. 
5. Assemble their knowledge and understanding about inborn errors of carbohydrate  metabolism, lipid metabolism and vitamins deficiency diseases.
