Objective: 

This course will enable the students to –

  • Aware about economically important insects.
  • Appraise the morphology of insect pests and the nature of the damage done by an insect pest.
  • Acquaint with the methods of control of various insect pests.
  • Recognize  arthropods vectors of human diseases.
  • Gain knowledge about Pisciculture, dairy farming, Poultry Keeping, Leather industry and Wool industry.
  • To enlighten them about use of Pharmaceuticals from animals
