CO 1: Differentiate between blood cells and their structure and functions

CO 2 : Examine the red blood and white blood count and can correlate their numbers with various pathological intervensions.

CO 3: Differentiate between the histology of various mammalian tissues.

2. Enumeration of red blood cells and white blood cells using haemocytometer

3. Estimation of haemoglobin using Sahli’s haemoglobinometer

4. Determination of bleeding and clotting time.

6. Recording of blood pressure using a sphygmomanometer

7. Examination of sections of mammalian oesophagus, stomach, duodenum, ileum,liver, trachea, lung, kidney
