  3. Classify Phylum Porifera to Platyhelminthes with taxonomic keys
  4. Understand salient features of Invertebrates
  5. Detailed type study from each phylum

Animal Diversity

Students will be able to

CO 1: Describe Taxonomy, Five kingdom classification and basis of classification

CO 2:  Describe   unique   characters,  ecological  role and diversity in  Protozoa,  Porifera, Coelenterate and Helminths

CO 3: To distinguish different animals based on their characteristics belonging to different phyla- Protozoa to Helminths.

CO 4: To recognize types of Coral reefs with special reference to India.
