Professor K.K. Sharma of MDS University Ajmer delivered a lecture on Sonoinformatics and Biodiversity monitoring on 8th August ’07.
The lecture was a compilation of years of research work carried out on regulation capacity of Amphibians and mammals including man. The interesting finding of his research seem promising for isolation a noval gene responsible for the regenerative capacity and inserting that gene in mammals a humans to achieve the same level of regenerative capacity after injury. Another interesting research carried out by him was on mating cells of amphibians during rainy season. The mating calls of a number of amphibians species can be recorded in vivo and feeded in software to have information about the animal and species.
