Objective: 
Course objectives: 
This course will enable the students to – 
 
1. Develop an understanding of the life processes at the subcellular and molecular levels. 
2. Differentiate and evaluate important aspects of DNA and molecular genetics including gene cloning, sequencing and gene mapping in addition to the powerful techniques that revolutionized the pharmaceutical, health and agricultural industries.

The students will –

CO43:Develop an understanding of concepts, mechanisms and evolutionary significance and relevance of molecular biology in the current scenario.

CO44:Differentiate and evaluate in recombinant DNA technology which holds application in biomedical and genomic science, agriculture etc.

CO45: Appraise the fundamental understanding of Molecular Biology which will help in career building in all these fields.

CO46: Apply their knowledge in problem solving and future course of their career development in higher education and research.
