CO19:Analyze    the                          concepts                          of

biocatalysts, enzyme  activity,  its

kinetics,    inhibition    and                 redox

reactions.

CO20:Acquire detailed knowledge

about the

Structure,  classification,  physico-

chemical properties and biological

significance,      metabolism                         and

metabolic           disorders                          of

carbohydrates.

CO21:Illustrate         the                                 lipid

classification, structure, properties,

anabolic and catabolic pathways of

lipid    metabolism and disorders associatedwith

them.

CO22:Classify proteins and amino

acids based on various parameters.

Compare    and    contrast                 between

different      levels       of                   protein

organization    and                       correlate                       the

protein sequencing strategies with

its structures.

CO23:Outline    various                          catabolic

reactions associated with amino acid

degradation and correlate the inborn

metabolic    disorders                   with                   their

● Inborn errors of metabolism: Alkaptonuria, Phenylketonuria, Maple Syrup, Tyrosinemia, Albinism, Urea Disorders.
