CO:199 Analyze the concepts of biocatalysts, enzyme activity, its kinetics, inhibition and redox reactions. CO:200 Acquire detailed knowledge about the structure, classification, physico-chemical properties and biological significance, metabolism and metabolic disorders of carbohydrates. CO:201 Illustrate the lipid classification, structure, properties, anabolic and catabolic pathways of lipid metabolism with rate-limiting steps and disorders associated with them. CO:202 Classify proteins and amino acids based on various parameters. Compare and contrast between different levels of protein organization and correlate the protein sequencing strategies with its structures. CO:203 Outline various catabolic reactions associated with amino acid degradation and correlate the inborn metabolic disorders with their defective metabolic enzymes and their consequences. CO:204 Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction
