 | Students will –: CO67: Provide insight into the key concept and analytical methods used in bioinformatics. CO68: Acquire knowledge about sequence similarity search methods like DOT PLOT, heuristic and dynamic method for sequence analysis and alignment. CO69: Assessing basics of bioinformatics in Phylogenetic analysis and prediction of structure of Proteins and nucleic acids using it. CO70: Deduce application of mathematics in biology basic rules of Matrices and vectors, Exponential functions, Periodic Functions, Differentiation and Integration. CO71: Expedite foundation on statistical methods to enable students to compute and interpret biological parameters statistically. | Approach in teaching: Guest lectures, Reading assignments, Demonstration, PowerPoint presentation
