Objective: 

Ethology- To be given as Project

  • Paramecium and Ant behaviour
  • General behaviour of experimental mice
  • General behaviour of commonly found animals (Locust, Passer, Koel, Pigeon, Humming bird, Peacock, Weaver bird, Squirrel,Dog,Deer, Monkey)

 

 

Evolution- To be given as Project

  • Adaptive modification in feet and beak in birds
  • Analogy and Homology
  • Serial homology

Ecology:             

  • Water analysis (Acidity,Alkalinity,chlorine ,dissolved oxygen,carbon dioxide)
  • Soil analysis (by Kit)- pH ,moisture and Bulk density
  • Study different types of soil

Biostatistics:

  • Construction of frequency tables ,histograms, polygon, pie-charts
  • Exercises on mean, mode, median
