CO 2: Analyze images of X- Ray, PET, MRI and CT scan (using photographs). CO 3: Operate the microscope, centrifuge, and other laboratory equipment. CO 4: Analyse the Excretory products and other body fluids. CO5: Compare and contrast between different lifestyle related diseases, theri causes, symptoms and possible treatments and strategies to combat these diseases CO6:Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction |

Diagnostics Methods Used for Analysis of Blood, blood group determination
Blood composition, Determination of bleeding and clotting time, RBC & WBC count using haemocytometer
Erythrocyte: Sedimentary Rate (E.S.R), Packed Cell Volume (P.C.V.), Hemoglobin estimation
Urine Analysis: Physical characteristics; Abnormal constituents
Basal metabolic rate
Non-infectious Diseases: Causes, types, symptoms, complications, diagnosis and prevention of Diabetes (Type I and Type II), Hypertension (Primary and secondary), Thyroid disorders, Testing of blood glucose using Glucometer/Kit
Infectious Diseases: Causes, types, symptoms, diagnosis and prevention of Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, AIDS
Tumours: Types (Benign/Malignant), Detection and metastasis
Medical imaging: X-Ray of Bone fracture, PET, MRI and CT Scan (using photographs).
