Course objectives: 
This course will enable the students to - 
1. Develop detailed knowledge of  Mendelian  inheritance and interactions of Genes 
2. Analyze crossing over and  linkage in heredity and  chromosome mapping.
3. Perceive the concept  of sex determination.
4. Acquire the knowledge about origin of life and concept of speciation
